As part of the project on “Supportive institutional mechanisms for integrated policy and decision-making on transport, environment and health” a workshop was hosted by the German Federal Environmental Agency in Berlin on 23-24 January 2006. The workshop served to discuss and to complete the information on current institutional practise in the region building on the relevant studies and publications available as well as on the replies to an on-line questionnaire survey.

The outcomes of the workshop will be fed into a project report to be discussed by THE PEP Steering Commitee at its fourth session (10-11 April 2006). Once finalized, the report will be published and submitted to the 3rd High-level Meeting on Transport, Environment and Health, scheduled for 2007.
